Thailand Immigration Update: “e-Work Permit” Digital System Rolling Out

Thailand’s labour officials are implementing a major shift in the work authorization procedure for foreign nationals: a required online platform called the “e-Work Permit” system, through which all registrations and work-permit applications (covering new requests, renewals, and cancellations) will be submitted electronically

The updates are planned to start with the registration module on October 13, 2025, with complete compulsory implementation anticipated afterwards, though a temporary manual filing alternative will remain until a designated date.
